Ms. Christina Hunter

Community Coordinator - Delaware

Christina Hunter is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Delaware Chapter of the Samaritan Place of Restoration. Ms. Hunter graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Widner University as an undergraduate. She dedicated ten years to the legal field until deciding, along with her husband, to embrace the role of a stay-at-home mom and raise their four small children. During this period, she ventured into entrepreneurship by opening an in-home daycare operating it for eleven years. The onset of the pandemic prompted her to pursue a lifelong goal, leading her back to school to earn a master's degree in social work, with an anticipated graduation in the spring of 2024. With 17 years of marriage and a family of five, she is deeply passionate about aiding underserved communities. Working in a non-profit allows her to collaborate with like-minded individuals, finding motivation in the collective pursuit of shared goals. Christina's enthusiasm is fueled by her daily creative endeavors and her commitment to lifelong learning, always seeking new perspectives on the world, others, and herself.
