Matthew 25:35-36

"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me."

Our Objectives

  1. Address unmet human needs. The organization concentrates its efforts on stabilizing and restoring disenfranchised households impacted by financial and catastrophic events.  Intensive case management and basic needs assessments determine the level of service needed to support movement towards self-sufficiency.

  2. To equip community members with essential resources. Through internal resources and/or a coordination of services with partnering provider organizations, the organization provides access to essential resources such as healthy foods, clothing, counseling, and temporary housing assistance.

  3. To fill the gap of family circumstances. Through intensive case management, Samaritan Place of Restoration utilizes a multi-generational approach to addressing the needs of individuals and families impacted by poverty, homelessness, and food insecurity. Research as shown that if the head of household cannot sufficiently maintain a level of financial security in the home; all members of the household are impacted in some way. The coordination of services is designed to serve as a bridge moving individuals and families from dependency to self-sufficiency.
